PRESERVING LIVES BY EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistic, the average number of suicide deaths over the past 5 years is 2,415 per year which equates to an average of 7 deaths by suicide in Australia each day.

The Mental Awareness Foundation (MAF) strongly advocates for the rights, acceptance and recognition of people dealing with mental illnesses and leads the crusade to break the taboo of talking about suicide and depression.

To achieve the above, MAF rallies people together to raise funds to support selected charities that work directly with communities to raise awareness of depression and mental illness, while supporting the preservation of life. MAF is run by a union of individuals who are determined to make a difference.
