Vivcourt Energy has generously donated $20,000 to support the work of the Mental Awareness Foundation to influence positive change and provide help and support to anyone who is experiencing mental health issues.
Scott Riethmuller (Trading Manager Australasia, Vivcourt Trading) is connected as a close friend of Chelsea and the Keim family. The loss of Shane Keim in 2019, due to mental illness, has shifted the focus of Vivcourt employees to support the awareness of mental health in the wider community and donate $20,000 to support Mental Awareness Foundation in 2020. Through the efforts of Scott, Chelsea and the Keim family, “Shane’s Squad’ has since formed and is dedicated to the cause of mental health and awareness.
“While it is our pleasure to be the ones that get to distribute the funds to such great causes as the Mental Awareness Foundation, it is also the case that I am lucky enough to work for Vivcourt Trading and be in the position to distribute the profits each year, as each of the Vivcourt employees is.
The cause is important to Lynley and I, and so are Chelsea and the Keim family. Shane was a great mate and we miss him terribly. Supporting Shane’s Squad and ultimately MAf makes us feel like we are at least doing something to support others, like Shane and the Keim family,” Scott Riethmuller said.
The Mental Awareness Foundation are incredibly grateful for the generous support of Vivcourt Trading and the Keim family and their mission to make a difference towards mental awareness support.
